In a ceremony for dozens of people at the residence of the Consul General of Italy in San Paolo, Filippo la Rosa, GM Venture managing partner Graziano Messana was awarded the Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
The event attended by executives of the main companies in Italy who work in Brazil and representatives of the Italy community in São Paulo.
“I am very honoured to receive this award from the Italian Republic and the Consul General in São Paulo, and to have the main Italian companies present in Brazil, as well as the main Brazilian companies with Italian DNA,” said Messana. Who has been to Brazil for 13 years old and he is also vice-president of the Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (Italcam). Consul La Rosa, in his speech, declared that the executive is one of the “most important exponents” of the Italian collective of San Paolo.
