Brazil presents itself with a renewed face." A growing number of Italian SMEs are looking to the Brazilian market for its high potential.". Explains Graziano Messana, 43, Entrepreneur, who moved to Brazil in 2006 where he founded the management and consulting company GM Venture, becoming among other vice presidents of the Sao Paulo Chamber of Commerce. "In Brazil, Italian companies that want to set up production sites or do business face difficulties due to the regulatory complexities in the market," Messana explains. That's why GM Venture, the name that stands for General Management Venture, offers interim management services on behalf of foreign companies. "In practice, we take care of all administrative and financial aspects through outsourced management and administrative services. This kept businesses from getting rid of costs and procedural complexities to focus only on the "core business", explains the entrepreneur. Italian energy, finance, fashion and industry have found fertile ground in Brazil to grow. "In addition to giants like Enel, in energy, or like Azimut, in managed savings, there are cases of lesser-known companies", points out Messana. The examples? Lynx, a system integrator with a turnover of about 30 million euros and Temsi, 10 million turnovers, which after managing logistics for Esselunga in Italy has moved to provide similar services for large-scale distribution in Brazil.
